Today we headed to Hollywood Studios…or tried to. The Skyliner gondola that connects our resort to Hollywood Studios was down so we had to wait for a bus. Disney did a pretty good job of getting the buses deployed fairly quickly. So we were only a little delayed getting to the park.
We immediately
headed to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
section of the park where we hit several of the Star Wars themed attractions,
including Millenium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run and Rise of the Resistance.

With our Lightening Passes we were able to get in each very quickly. We probably saved about an hour wait time on each of these attractions.
We also went to
a performance showcasing some of the pieces from the Broadway musical, Beauty
and the Beast. Really fun. We need to head to Broadway to see the entire
musical.

The restaurant we booked lunch at had characters visiting. We met Mickey Mouse,
Minnie Mouse,
Goofy
and Pluto. What fun.
We also saw the 3-D Muppet Show and a live stunt show based on Indiana Jones.
After dinner we had had enough walking for the day and headed back to the room. Was a really beautiful sunset.
